Excellent for Starting Out

I have been living at Manzano Vista for 2 years now. I am about to move this month, but not because I do not like the apartments. The place has been wonderful. The staff is really nice and they work with you no matter the problem. When I renewed my lease last year, I asked if I could have new carpet installed. They worked it through and I signed up for another year.
As for the apartments, they are not the nicest, but for the amount of room you get, they are definitely a deal. I especially like the townhome layout. The two rooms upstairs work great for roomates. The bathrooms(one full upstairs and 1/2 down) are functional. One thing that I had to get used to is that there is such a large window in the shower stall that it's really easy for neighbors to catch a glance. But, a nice idea is to buy mini blinds for the window. The back yard is also great! I had planted a lot of vegetables and the good amount of soil space was very nice to have. The one problem was that there is no covering in the back yard so everytime it rained, pebbles from the roof covered the patio. The kitchen and living room are very nicely sized. These rooms are also very functional. There is not that much storage space, but that is good in a way because it makes you want to get rid of stuff. I have not had a problem here. A couple of times I have had to call security on some loud music, but not even 5 minutes later, they came to take care of it.
The reason I am moving out is not because I do not like the place, I thought it was just time for a change and to move on up a little. The two years here at Manzano Vista have been great and was a great place to start out. The area is the best I have seen in Albuquerque. Everything you could possibly need is within 5 minutes (2 Shopping Centers, Fast food, Hotels (for family visiting), malls, easy access to the freeway, banks, gas stations, costco....etc.) Like I said the area has it all, it even has the best weather around. During the winter, the snow lasts longer, and during the summer, the breezes from the canyon are refreshing. That's also why I'm only moving a couple blocks away.
