I was initally enchanted with mesa verde, the grounds were wonderfully landscaped, floorplans unique, and rent affordable to boot...I moved in quickly. I cant say that I regret it at all, however, some of the "perks" were.. lets say, over stated. It can be said that the personal "comfort" of the residents here is compromised often. I have lived here less than a year and the hot water has been turned off 6 times, the ENTIRE waterline has been turned off twice. Dont get me wrong, I have been happy here. This is probably the best bet you can get in the heights for the money..if you don't mind carrying wet laundry back and forth from any of the 4 laundry facilities(depending which is functional at the time)and if you dont mind an occasional shooting in the parking lot. All of this ranting considered, the maintenance staff here deserves more kudos than I myself can give.

True, I have lived at Mesa Verde for 2 years now. The hot water is turned off atleast once a month, so unless you don't mind a regular cold shower, I'd keep looking. The laundry facilities are absolutely dreadful. You could easily watch an entire episode of your favorite TV show while waiting for one load of laundry to fill up with water. And the water is steaming HOT!!!! No cold water here... Maybe if the outside sprinklers weren't going off at random hours during the day, we'd have enough water to devote to the laundry facilities. Having lived in many apartments, I opt for the 6 month lease. First, Mesa Verde up charged me 30 a month, then 130 a month, and most recently 200 a month. I can afford the extra money, but out of principle these apartments are NOT WORTH IT!
