I moved to abq from texas in may 2003. At first, the management seemed nice. However, I did have many problems with appliances breaking and floodings. The maintenance people don't knock-just walk in. They even happened to walk in on me in my undies one day- what a show!!! My dishwasher flooded, an awful smell came from my washer and dryer that was never fixed and my toliet flooded a couple of times. The second time my toliet flooded was when I went how to visit my parents and my g/f found out b/c she just happened to go check my apt. I was told by the old management to move into another apt. for the rest of my lease (b/c I had pd the entire lease off) and oi could keep my stuff at the flooded apt. So, I did. Well, that was a mistake b/c then, new management came in and wouldnt listen to me when i told them what had happened to my apt.'s. The new manager came pounding on my door one Thursday morning and gave me until saturday morning to get all of my stuff out of the apt. So, that night my g/f got off of work early to help me pack and take the stuff over to her parents. When we arrived at my old apartment, the apt. people had stolen my computer, TV, VCR, and gone through my checkbook. I called the cops to make a report. When I confronted her about it the next day, and told her that i had to call the cops, she called the cops on me and reported that i was "verbally assulting" her. I always paid my rent on time (pd. the entire lease on the day of my lease) and always extremely respectful. Luckily, she was forced to drop all of the charges, but so was i. I would not recommend this apartment complex to ANYONE unless you need the money from an insurance company. Also, I could her everytime the person above me had relations with their significant other and there was a person who would always stare at me, my g/f and my friends everytime we went outside to go anywhere.
