I would NEVER recommend Mountain Run to anyone! This is the most horribe place I've ever lived at and can't wait to move out! It is VERY overpriced! The floors are caving in, there's sewage smell all throughout the apartment, management is very rude, a lot of crime around the complex, I hear gunshots at least once a week, the complex is so old that your internet will drop off every so often due to the old exterior, there's a hole on the side of one of the buildings..this is what I call the GHETTO!!! Awful experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wrong answer! What makes you think it was a "female" who wrote this entry? Also, everything you wrote is completely false. It is very apparent someone from management wrote the response above. Nope, not being "forced" to leave either. In fact, management tried to keep me here due to my extradordinary tenant here, but there is no way I will continue to remain in the ghetto! Stay tuned! Thanks management for your response!! :)

haha....agreed. Obvisouly someone from Management wrote that. This place is horrible, and Ghetto! And I am leaving the Ghetto voluntarily...actually paying a full months rent NOT to live there because I am breaking my lease. Costs $600, it will be worth every penny!!!

Wow....I truly believe ALL of the comments above were written by the SAME person. I have lived here for quite some time, and have not experienced any of what is being said. BTW, I live in bldg 13, which is where the "WHOLE" in the building is (it's spelled HOLE moron) and it's there because the building was struck by lightning and caused a small fire. Not sure why it hasn't been fixed yet, but my guess is it has something to do with insurance. But does that HAVE ANYTHING to do with how it is to live here? HELL NO. Grow up and quit being a cry baby. It's clearly beneficial to the rest of us that you don't live here anymore.

It was not management who wrote that first response. It was a tenant who tried to portray Mountain Run favorably over the months. I do agree that there are cultural issues in this complex, and most likely in other places, too. I was told today that after three years of the person living here (talking to me), he has had enough of ABQ and Mountain Run. He said things have really worsened here in the three years, and most likely it has to do with management. I was also told that by the cops recently, since they get a call here for some reason daily. I haven't had the cable modem problems, or the vandalism problems. Maintenance did fix my stuff on time. But, I do agree with the area becoming more "ghetto." Even the cops told me that those complexes in the "ghetto" as the cops put it - may not look very attractive, but the tenants are well behaved and you don't see the problems at Mountain Run. And, now I agree with them. I'm sick of shopping carts and trash all over the place. Broken glass in a parking stall since the person who broke the item didn't want to clean up the rest of the glass. No one parks in that area. Then you have people who store their vehicles here and don't even live here. And, yes the hole in the building is due to lightening and the hold up is due the insurance. But, there are still other problems in this complex.
