First of all, I AM NOT the manager, nor do I have ANY affiliation with the people who work at mountain run, so get that thought out of your heads.

I have lived here for quite some time, and have posted a response or two to some of the negative posts on this site for apartment communities I HAVE NEVER LIVED AT, USING FOUR DIFFERENT USER ACCOUNTS. That should be your first clue about the reliability of ANY post on this site. ANYONE can sign up for an account, so long as you have a different email address for each username you come up with. And they can be FAKE email addresses--they don't send confirmation emails to verify they are valid. I did it. I could sit here ALL DAY and create fake email accounts and post to my hearts content. There is clearly no validation process to determine whether or not the people posting have ever lived here. It could be some idiot pissed off because he was denied for an apartment. Or some fool who got evicted because he didn't pay his rent or had too many complaints. Or some jackass who had a friend of a friend of a friend who lived here. These reviews (even mine) have no credibility whatsoever because this site is a joke. It is nothing more than a place to spread gossip, lies, and slander, and I'm quite shocked after reviewing posts for MANY apartment communities that they haven't been sued.

I have lived at mountain run since late 2007, and have NEVER experienced the things that people mention in these posts. My stay here has been pleasant, and I am a good critic because I've lived in apartments most of my life, and alot of them have been DUMPS. Mountain run is far from it. The rent is reasonable, the staff is friendly and responsive, most of the residents are nice, and it's pretty quiet at night. Does that mean there's not the odd party that gets out of hand every now and then' No. But I don't care where you live or how much your rent is, you'll have that ANYWHERE.

I would hope that anyone reading the reviews on this site not lend any credibility to what they read. Meet some of the people who live at the places in these reviews, and get their opinions. This website is nothing more than a rag, and if it was a print publication, wouldn't even be worth wiping your butt with.

I don't think that people sit around creating fake accounts. People write reviews on here because they want to give people feedback, whether it be positive or negative. If someone writes something negative on here it is because they had a negative experience. YOU have had a great experience and I am sure people appreciate your feedback. However, you need to keep in mind that not everyone is the same nor will they have the same experiences. Please do not be rude to others on here and respect people's opinions. I have personally had a horrible experience at Mountain Run. I wish I did not have to say that, but I have. I am very happy that you have not. I would not want someone to have the same experience as me. Without positive and negative comments, no one would be able to make an accuate decision on where they want to live. Let me give you another example of why I do not enjoy living there. It is summer. I sleep with my AC on most nights. This can become pricey. However, the other night was really cool. I thought I would open my windows and give the AC a break. This was a bad idea. My neighbor neglects their dog, leaving them outside all day and night. This dog barks all day/night. And yes, maybe I just have a bad neighbor, but this is the second one who treats their animal so bad. I was woken up again at 2am on Thursday because the people across from me were having a party. Maybe the people that run the office are nice...but the people who live in the apartments are disrespectful and neglectful. This is just MY experience/feedback. I hope people look at it with the mindset that I am one person, and I am sure others really enjoy living there :]

I have to agree with the latest post. I tend to run my A/C all the time and not open the windows for two reasons here - the dust and the noise, whether its the dogs barking, the kids screaming since they don't know how to play nicely (usually their parents are fighting inside or watching TV for hours on end), and the young, immature party people that management caters to and rents to more frequently now. I suggest two things - in the evening for about an hour, open your sliding door wide and let the cool air in. Then when you go to bed, shut the door and turn the air up to 80. It probably won't go on since it will cool down at night and the inside air is somewhat cool now. Also, with the noise problem - call the cops. The office says they need official complaints, so just call the cops AND the security personnel to make it official, then those incompetent employees in the office will have a paper trail on their hands.
