If you are looking for a place to rent or are renting for Southwest Suites, stay away for this apartment complex. Many of the southwest suites renters have had their car vandalized. In addition the keys for the SW Suites apartments have been passed to everyone in town and some people have been robbed. In fact, Pinnacle apartments are NOT re-keyed after the renter leaves so who knows who has the key to your apartment. (I asked to have my apartment re-keyed before moving in and was told by the management that this happen. You can imagine my surprise when the last tenant?s drunken girlfriend used her key to unlock my door and walked in at 1:30AM. SO ASSUME THE MANAGEMENT IS ALWAYS LYING.)

The apartment has a NO maintenance policy. I have asked several times to get a furnace filter or a external complex light bulb replaced with no results. The buildings and property are poorly maintained. The buildings need a coat of paint, the roof leaks and each time it rains I have to try and dry the carpet. The complex is noisy and the management does not enforce any rules. On top of this the management is always finding an excuse to enter your apartment. Example, the night before thanksgiving eve when most people were away the management decided to spray for bugs. Of course they put a note on your day the night before and entered the next day since no one was there stop them. "SOME ENTRY NOTICE POLICY." Besides the note on the door is a real give-away of who is not home.

Did I say bugs; no I should of say swarms. Last Fall, 2004, the complex had swarms of roaches. The buildings are infested. They sprayed and even after spraying I had 6 ? 8 live roaches a day for over a month and they never stopped appearing.

The outside lighting is poor and dangerous, some days it is ON, some days it is OFF.

The staff is the worse personnel I have every met. The renting staff is rude and unhelpful. I have called for maintenance several times but have never had one person come fix a thing. You can never get a garage. I have notice must are rented by businesses and the illegal day worker or always around in the day time when most people are at work ? I wonder why people at the complex are getting robbed'

The apartments are extremely cold in the winter and hot in the summer. Noisy ? The floors is paper thin and just the person upstairs walking around will wake you from a sound sleep. Do you like to smell cooking this is your apartment' You can smell their cooking or bathroom habits. (real nice to be waken at 1AM to a strong garlic smell). I spoke to the management about the noise, smell, and maintenance and they stated they never hear of this before. I guess from this site they lied.

Yes, they are under new management and if anything the NEW Management is worst. Maintenance is worse, and the staffs are even worse with their ?false? smiles. I have asked about where they live and why they don?t know any thing about the complex. Most of the staff live in other complexes or houses so how do they know anything about the complex.

I have left. There are other nice complexes around Albuquerque. Do not be fooled by the location, the complex is dangerous (no gate & external traffic), no maintenance and lying staff.
