I spoke to one of my neighbor on my move out and he made me realize that Pinnacle High Desert is NOT (Quote NOT!) a luxury apartment as advertised.
- The apartments are not gated.
- The apartments have the cheapest carpeting.
- The apartments have very cheap linoleum in the kitchen and bath with many patches and holes. The only ceramic tile is in the entrance way.
- The apartments are extremely noisy and you can smell when other tenants are cooking or smoking.
- The apartments have ordinary kitchens, no glass-top stoves, cheap microwaves and dishwashers and very cheap countertops with patches.
- The parking at the complex is a nightmare. Grossly inadequate!
- The landscaping is nothing special. In fact I would say below most other complexes.
- The complex is very dark at night. Before I moved the new management removed some lights to make it even darker.
- The management is very rude and lazy.
- Apartment maintenance basically does not exist. Work orders go unanswered.
- The complex has dirty pools that have been closed by the city.
- The complex has a crime problem.
- The complex might have had a view 10 years ago but I could not see any views worth the money only roof tops.
- Major plumbing problems.
- The complex needs paint and has holes in the stucco.
- My apartment leaked when it rained.
- The apartment heating and cooling are very inadequate. The heating system is a poor idea that is poorly installed.
I have rented several apartments I could not decide why these apartments are listed as luxury except for the price. The doors, walls, floorings, and stoves are the same cheap stuff you can find in any apartment. The washer and dryer are nothing special and can be found now in most apartments at this price. The area is so-so but without a gate, you are no safer then any other apartment complex.
This complex is not luxury!!!!!! Save your money. I wish I had read this site before renting. The recent reviews are all true. I think the new owners are being cheap at the tenants expensive and comfort.

Pinnacle high desert apt is a joke. I just move in March 25, 2007 and my apt was not ready for move in. They had to change the carpet, the dishwasher was patched up and the leasing agent are young girls who do not have a clue about renting apartments. When I called to complain about a serious problem with the heating unit both leasing agent hung up in my face. I had just given them a check for 1300.00 which they cashed within three days. Following the cashing of the check they began to be very rude and disrespectful. I only been here for a week and I hate it. Unfortunately, I am in a lease for 12 months. I am thinking about breaking the lease and taking the corporation to court if nothing is none about this terrible place.
