The day I moved into my apartment I found the carpeting soaking wet. The office did not have the carpeting cleaned until the night before my move in. I know my apartment had been empty for three weeks prior to my move in. I could not sit my boxes and furniture on the wet carpeting so I had to wait a day before unloading. The apartment was not clean on move in. The stove had food under the drip pans and in the oven. A coating of grease covered the microwave. The refrigerator had food and crumbs in the freezer section and mold in the crisper. The stove hood vent screens were filled with grease. The stove hood was brown with grease and burnt food. Even the dryer lint screen was not clean. The toilet had feces under the rim and under the seat. The bathroom cabinet had puddles of spilled liquids. I had to clean a full day to get the apartment in a condition to move in and run my portable fan to help dry the carpet. I complained to the office but got a it is your problem baby attitude! I am looking for another apartment now.
