I have decided to move so I walked around this complex to see it I could tell that the management was bad. I wanted to know if I could be fooled again. My inspection showed me a complex that the buildings needed paint and holes in exterior stucco. Maintenance had removed the exterior walkway lighting and repairs made with duct tape. A pair of cheap Wal-Mart solar lights were next to one walkway and gave off no light. The mail station was covered with old stickers, had been poorly repaired from break-ins and outgoing mail slot blocked. The roofs on the complex had broken tiles and pieces of tile lying on the ground next to the buildings. A landscaping company was blocking the garages as they loaded their truck from a garage space they rented. I ran into two people that do not live in the complex and two teenagers throwing a ball between parked cars. I saw several empty apartments. I concluded that I could tell that the management was cheap by the unkempt building and maintenance was bad by looking at their work. That parking was not good by the people playing among the cars or that your car could be blocked in if you had a garage or not be able to get a garage if you are a resident. I saw a number of empty apartments indicting that other people did not think much of this complex. My carpeting was cheap and my apartment extremely noisy. I concluded this was not a luxury apartment as advertised and I could tell it was not worth the money. Thus, I am ready to start looking for another place.
