We moved from this property due to unfair practices by staff; Shannon Dixson. She constantly harassed us for no good reasons, or at least reasons that she didn't equally apply to other residents, i.e. dog of leash, one time, yet reported neighbors and have video and photgrahic evidence of neighbors dogs, not only off leashes but unsupervised. Anyway, we violated our 1 yr lease agreement due to maintenance items from our "Move-In Inspection" were not taken care of, plus various additonal maintenance requests throughtout our time there were not taken care of properly. Additionally, our lease was basically negated due to the apartment being in violation of the lease as well, due to on our lease it stated $20 a month for water, sewer and trash and throughout our time there we were charged anywhere from $60- 200.00. And final rant about this place is, even without being taken to court the rep./mgr. Shannon Dixson, repeatedly took and tried to take monies from our bank account for so called damages (there were none), and the breaking of our lease, which according to the lease agreement they (Shannon Dixson and Simpson Property Management Group) were in complete violation of since we moved in, but to be fair from 7-10 days (Business and otherwise) after we moved in. Per the lease in black and white it states that the move-in inspection/ maintenance needs will be taken care of within those days (7-10), plus the $20 a month for water, sewer and trash and we were being charged WAY more than that. If you decide to move there, I feel sorry for you, but live and learn. I just received a call back from Albuquerque Metro Court and there is no record of the apartment complex filing against myself or my wife, thus they are not authorized to take our monies without the court order. Wow! Plus, our bank notified us that they have been trying to get in touch with the property manager and Simpson and nobody returns phone calls. If within 9 days now, nothing is done, they will be crediting our account for all monies and going after San Miguel del Bosque and Simpson Property to get their money back.

I live in this complex as well. Here's what I can say about this review - the author is likely being dishonest. Notice the author says she was told it was $20 for water. Then later in the review it was $20 for water, sewer and trash. That's inconsistent. Secondly, the policy on the move-in inspection is 72 hours. not 7-10 days. And finally, your neighbors dog has nothing to do with you. You agreed to the terms in the contract. You violated them. I frankly enjoy the complex. It's one of the most quiet complexes I've ever lived at. Parking is plentiful (though they could repaint the lines) and I have had no problems with the front office.
