Not too bad, but still paying six years later

I liked the apartments when we lived there. They are on the small side, but cute. The washer and dryer is nice too. The office staff was great while we were there too. But about a year after we moved out we discovered that they had turned us into collections for the cost of replacing the bathroom floor. While we lived there we complained to them about the "splash guards" falling off of the bathtub. They were never replaced and as a result the floor turned grey from water damage. Since Qwest was on strike when we moved out we did not get our phone transferred for a few weeks so I went to the office to clear up any outstanding debts. I was told there was none. Then a year later after pulling a credit report we discovered that they turned us into collections for $200. We immeditely went to talk to them about it and naturally it was too long to prove that they were wrong and it was their fault the floor turned grey to begin with. So now this debt still shows up on my credit report when it should not. I don't feel that I should have to spend MY time fixing the mistake that they made. I would not recommend anyone live there! g-hKOS7s4Nq5n3hEIpHd
