I stayed here for 10 months. They generally came to do repairs in a timely manner. The place is very beautiful. Being from the Northwest, I felt right at home with the trees and the greenery and water. The staff were generally very responsive to my concerns. I have a dog that I pick up after always and I did notice that some of the others didn't always pick up after their dogs and people used to comment to me that it was good to see that some dog owners pick up after thier dogs. There was a youth who used to sit out on the stairwell and smoke and spit, that was awful to have to step over it all the time and make sure that my dog didn't step in it. I complained about it and they looked into it but what can you do' It never did seem to change the whole time I was there. I'm sure someone used to urinate in the elevators. I complained about that also and the maintenance cleaned it up but whoever used to do it used to be persistent. There were some young people who I noticed used to leave the door open and also pull the gated area open so they could squeeze through. I think they used to purposely break the lock so others could get in. I felt my car was safe considering the area that this place is located. It seemed like the security guard was present enough as well as the couple of police who live in the complex.
In general the positives of this place outweighted the negatives. I would consider moving back there if I move back to Albuquerque. Being a student, it was very great for the price.
