Suncreek is a decent place to live, though it has a few drawbacks.

The strengths are they have two pools, one is kept open year round (except occasional downtime), access to a major jogging trail behind the complex. The apartments have good insulation, and 2" of concrete in the floors to minimize noise between floors. The neighbors have to be very lould to be heard. The price is not bad for ABQ, and the second floor units have vaulted ceilings, up to about 12' high in the living room. Floorplans have large bedrooms, some have two balconies. The complex has a racquetball court, exercise room with TV, and pool tables. Maintenance has been responsive, fixing most problems within one or two working days.

The weakness is they have not been as selective with new tenants as they should be, and some are young and inconsiderate (there are many nice tenants too). One problem is reserved parking is not enforced, people (especially the younger ones) park in spaces rented by others. The bedrooms face the parking areas, so loud car stereos, exhausts and engines can be heard at times in busy areas of the complex. Also, some units have wallpaper, which is now peeling, but they are working to fix this. If you move in there, make sure your unit does not have any wallpaper first. The grounds used to be real nice, but they cut out many trees and changed landscapers, now they are mediocre.
