STAY AWAY!!!!!!

I have lived in this complex for almost 5 years. The first few years werent bad, except for the utility bills always being way overpriced, and the constant watering. The last year though things have become very frustrating and ridiculous. I think they have completely quit screening tenants and rent to whoever has the money for rent. The complex used to be fairly quiet, now its not unusual for radio's to be blasting in your building until 2 or 3am. The parking was never great, but it has become a nightmare. I pay for a covered "reserved" space, however, at least once a week I come home and there is someone parked in my "reserved" space. I have contacted the management numerous times about this and they have not been at all helpful. Their usual answer is that I need to call "someone" and have the vehicle towed. However, if you call a tow company they will tell you that they cannot tow the vehicle for you because it is on private property. So alas the parking woe's continue. The maintnence staff is a joke. I have had a water dripping sound in my apartment for about a year and a half, anytime the resident upstairs runs his dishwasher I can hear water dripping into my wall. The maintnence people tell me that I am just hearing things. I work for a plumbing company, I know what I am hearing. I had my carpets cleaned for signing a new lease (stupid mistake, wont happen again) and the carpets are dirtier now than they ever were before the cleaning. The complex also recently changed my mini blinds to vertical blinds as a gift for signing a new lease( once again a mistake that will not happen again), and when they pulled the mini blinds down they uncovered old wallpaper that was under the texture on my walls, they did not even bother to try to cover the wall paper up. Just put the new blinds in, and now there are large portions of wall paper that show around my window frames. I have also had a problem with the overwatering of the grounds. Number one, we live in the desert, we need to conserve water. Number two, they run the sprinklers almost nonstop causing my utility bills to skyrocket(thanks CUBCO) and it has also caused a problem with standing water in front of my apartment due to the slope of the ground causing water to collect in the grass next to my sidewalk. This pond is here for almost the entire year. There are a couple of dumpsters in the complex, but they are not emptied enough. Very rarely can I go to throw out my garbage and be able to find room in the dumpster. I live in a building near the mailboxes and so everyone throws their garbage out on their way out of the complex to check their mail. Needless to say I will not be signing another lease at The Suncreek Apartments and I urge all prospective residents to look at other complexes and leave this complex as a last resort.
