I have been living at the Lofts since December of 2008. I absolutelty love living there!!! The only issues I have encountered were my vehicle getting broken into. However, there are precautions I could have taken and there are other options of parking like the parking garage. My bicycle was also stolen but that was partly my fault in not locking it up with the appropriate mechanism. The members of management are good at dealing with concerns and questions in a timely manner. The buildings are in excellent shape for being so old and I am definitely thinking of buying at the end of my lease. The location of the buildings are perfect for downtown activities. The community is excellent and my nieghbors in the buildings are very friendly. I love the feeling of having our community within a community. We are all friends at the lofts and you are always welcomed by a little hello when passing by your neighbors.

My vehicle was parked IN the garage. The cars that were broken into were IN the garage. I see all the broken glass on the curbs on Arno. That is why I pay extra to park IN the garage. Problems will continue to escalate if nothing is done about it. Security on Arno not only protects your vehicle from being broken into, but also is useful to deter other crimes from happening on our streets. You think you should tolerate crime because you live downtown? You just want it to snowball until its out of control? I hope that nothing worse than a broken window and the loss of some replaceable material item happens. As a resident, you should be confident that you and your belongings are safe while walking from your apartment to your car. As that really to much to ask for?

if you have ever lived in a downtown you would know that parking your car on the srteet is not a the best idea. its better to park in a garage. ive lived where there's security and my car has still been broken into. My suggestion: if you cannot live with that, move out to the hills. Downtown isnt for everyone.
