The Lofts @ ABQ High is a Great Place to live if you're looking for that urban lifestyle. Both Management and Maintenance have been nothing but 110 percent helpful and friendly. I'm quite a stickler on how quickly things get done and with such a attitude I can still say that all of my questions/ concerns have been addressed in a timely manner.
I did have an issue with my cars' safety parked out on the street(on the City Owned street. Not on the actual Lofts at Albuquerque High property) and contacted Management who then had a meeting with City council members and police officers to crack down on this problem that was involving the homeless. Ever since the meeting I have had no issues w/ my car that I park on the street and the amount to homeless that pass by our buildings has dropped Tremendously. I understand that we live in downtown and transients are going to be a part of any downtown setting. I was very pleased though to see that our management team went beyond their call of duty and reached out of their property lines to resolve this community issue. I also have a car in the parking structure and have not had any problems in there, in my opinion it's safe. On The Lofts at Albuquerque High Property, I have heard of zero break ins into actual lofts. There are security doors at all entries and even once you get into the courtyard. There are more locked doors at every entry, to each building which can only be opened with electrical security FOBs that only residences possess.
The Buildings themselves are beautiful. Historic and full of personality. Locker lined hallways and original chalkboards remind you that you're living in our city's first high school. The common areas are always well manicured as well.
All other residence living here that I have come across are super friendly, warm and inviting. There's a true sense of community that we all take pride in here at the Lofts.
We are in East Downtown aka EDo, therefore in walking distance to great restaurants, a movie theater, performing arts theater, concert venues, art galleries, night life and everything else that living in downtown entails.
I have lived in downtown for several years now which has included a couple of other urban downtown living options. By far The Lofts at Albuquerque High has been at the top of my list. I truly feel honored to have the opportunity to live in such a unique place, it is not like ANY other place here in in our city.
