You pay heating, gas and electricity. No dish TV is allowed so your only choice is Comcast (another rip-off company).

They work really hard to get you in, you know, very sweet and helpful. But do not expect same service after you move in.

The story changes totally after you move in. You won't get much services from the rental office/caretaker other than very basics. The rental office manager (her name is Leather I believe) is REALLY AWEFUL. AVOID her. One of the two girls in the office is easier to talk to.

They send ppl to enter your apartment without notice. And those workers do no even speak much english, which means they can run back to Mexico if they need.
So, you'd better go get a home insurance (recommended by the rental office).

Satellite dishes look trashy and compromise the integrity of the construction. Also, the maintenance people here are great. Contrary to what you say, I have never seen a Mexican maintenance man here. If there were one, WHO CARES. I do not judge people by their ethnicity, but by their ethics. I don't care if a person is White, Mexican, Asian, whatever, as long as they fix my sink effectively and without ripping me off. I have never had a bad experience with maintenance here, they are always friendly and professional.

I lived there in the 1980's and I loved it except that the pool was never open when I wanted to use it. My son lives there now and he likes it. One response above says neighbors are "dark" - sounds like a racist to me. In Albuquerque, we don't judge by color, but by the content of your character.
