Management is the main reason these apartments have went to dumpsville

We have lived in the Villas for almost 7 years, the first 5 were very nice and we were pleased living here. However, since new management took over 2 years ago, the place has quickly went downhill. Needless to say, this will be our last year here and I wouldn't recommend it to anybody.

The management is rude and arrogant and treat the tenants like employees that come to work 2 hours late and drunk. I can't believe that people in the service industry can treat their customers so bad, but then again, when the owners are located in a different state you can get away with being far from customer friendly. In fact, the only sevice the front office supplies is taking your rent check and they can't even do that right some times. 3 months ago they tried to give me a late charge...even though I had paid my rent a week early and my check had been deposited in their account on the 27th.

Apparently the management is not to friendly with it's employees either as the entire staff has turned over multiple times in the past 2 years. The apartments turn over at such a quick rate now that the maint. crew has little time to fix repairs and often don't.

I have been trying to get the outside lights by my apartment fixed for over a week now without success. My apartment is pitch black outside and with the increase in crime due to the lack of security and gates that are always open, I have been fearing for the safety of my family. This morning was the 4th time I have inquired about the lighting, I was told that a work order had been placed, but...they were backed up and had more important issues than my lights. They have argued with me for an hour over a job that takes 2 minutes. They call themselves luxury apartments, yet it has taken more than a week to change a light bulb! Not what I expect for over $700 a month.

Last week there were more than a dozen cars vandalized and numerous people had their property stolen from their patios. Tonight the police are investigating an alleged shooting in the bulding next to mine. Needless to say, we can't wait until our lease expires to get the heck out of this place.

Obviously age isn't a sign of maturity if you read the passages above. This sounds like a bunch of children throwing temper tantrums because they didn't get their way.

I'm a resident here unfortunately. My wife and I agree with you. We've had to deal with them multiple times (vandalism, lights, weight room, safety, and bad appliances) and they never seem to do it right, if they try to fix things at all. Recently there was an attempted murder next to my building, and the "automatic" gates have barely worked for over a month...again, I can get a weight set that works with a 3 year warranty at SAM'S CLUB for $412.00 up and going in two days, actual property security isn't hard to find, and cameras can be bought and installed within a week relatively cheaply. I'm leaving when my lease is up.

Mr. mature anonymous must be the manager who probably worries about the comments being made about her. Your comment is stupid and doesn't apply to what was written above. If management wasn't worried about their actions and behavior they would provide their corporate information and their supervisors name and phone number-WHICH THEY WON'T. What does that tell ya?

I have to agree with sunnyyyyy2 about Mr. mature anonymous being an employee of the property, since nobody actually gave their age, this person must know who wrote it. It is true that they will not give out their supervisors or corporate info and since the corporate office is located in San Francisco, these little girls think they can throw around their authority. By googling fpacific.com, you can reach their corporate site.

speaking of inmature, the office doesn't have anything to do but comment about people's honest oppinions, maybe they should look for a job where they don't have to deal with people, because I always thought the managers were rude and stuck up, didn't fix anything, didn't listen, and surely didn't care about the tenants or employees. I am a grown professional woman who works with the public and cares about my job and customers and now that I have moved from the villa's I realize how stress-free living should be!!!

I agree with all of you, especially about the Lady who said, "Now that I have moved from the villa's I realize how stress-free living should be". This place is like a maximum security prison, without the maximum security. The whole place is run by gang bangers, ex-prisoners and miserable, low lifes who are not going anywhere in life and management is letting them take over and brutalize the people who just want peace and to live a decent life. I am getting out of there as soon as possible. Very Creepy
