The apartment was noisy, and outside lighting was non-existant. Window had a crack, carpet had shards of glass in it when we moved in (I discovered this when my 10 month old brought me a peice of glass the size of his pinkie!)...and still had glass in it after it was "taken care of". Gangs/dealers in neighborhood. Front door not secure. Security is a phone number that you call, and they supposedly come over... Only one trash can (compressor) for entire place...had to walk FAR (and into the dark past sketchy people) to dump trash. Water/trash/sewer were NOT included in rent, it was divided up equally among residents and based on your (teensy) apartment size, not your usage. Pools weren't kept up well, laundry rooms had graffiti and no fire extinguishers. Upon move-out, a notice was sent that WE owed THEM money (after keeping our deposit), for dirty floors! Reading other reviews, they seem to do this often! Floors were not dirty...they nickel and dimed us out of our deposit. By the time I was notified that the floors were supposedly dirty, they had already had them cleaned (how convenient) and I couldn't see the mess. Rent is aparently decided on a whim, as everyone I spoke to paid a different amount. Parking was horrible, and our car has many scratches and bumps on it from our THREE AND A HALF MONTHS (we had a 5 month lease, but didn't live there for the last of it...still had to pay, mind you...) of living there. When I called to complain about the $30 charge for the supposed dirty kitchen and one bathroom floor, they said that I had to pay or they'd send it to collections. If you like quiet, your money and your sanity, DO NOT RENT FROM THIS GHETTO!

I agree about the doors. The locks are so flimsy that anyone could kick them in or pry them open. I also agree that after living in this complex you will have dings on your car doors. Overall, this review is consitent with what I know about this complex.
