please, please, do not move into this complex! the gate does not work. apartment has flooded three times since i have lived here. they allow very questionable characters into these apartments. i have had 4 cars in the past 3 months broken into in my lot alone and who knows how many others! maintenence cannot ever fix anything correctly. when you call the office no one ever answers the phone or ever returns phone calls! they are idiots! no one there ever knows what is going on and when you complain they always have some stupid excuse as to why things can be that way for them. this place has dog ---- all over the complex. cars bumping music till all hours of the nite! they get upset over trash and things on the balconies yet they are selective who they yell at because there are tons of people with ---- on their porch! they give you securities number in case of bad activity but yet there is no security here at all. everyone can get in the gate! high school kids fighting. a dead guy in the parking lot of a drug overdose! you name it it is going on in this complex! please be warned this is not a safe place to live by no means at all! stay away from this crime trap!

I have to agree with you. I do not live there, but my brother does. He's had nothing but problems with the apartment management and disrepair of his building since he moved in. His heater has been broken for a month, and the management says that they are working on it, but all they are doing is trying to scavenge parts from other vacant apartments, and still can't get it to work.
One of the apartments in his building has been condemned by the Public Nuisance Task Force for activities that have taken place in the unit. I mean, seriously - how non-caring and incompetent does the management have to be to have a unit actually condemned before they process an eviction on the scum that lived there? That's just one example of the many, many reasons why I wouldn't wish for my worst enemy to move in there. Frankly, you'd have better luck just paying weekly for one of the crack hotels on Central. At least then you wouldn't be fooled into the idea that you could make the place into a "home".
Please, if you are looking for an apartment in the area, there are so many other equally priced apartments WITHOUT the crime, lack of maintenence, and worthless management. Don't let the model apartments fool you - talk to some of the residents you see on the sidewalks. Don't sign anything until you do....
