Well, we lived there for over a year. The grounds were beautiful, maintenance men very helpful, and the old landlord, Lupe, was awesome. Always there for us. Then the new manager came. She was nice, but is very hard to work with. Upon moving out, as is the typical story, she slammed us with all kinds of charges! Of course we cleaned like mad, but it's the same old story of getting screwed out of the deposit. Even a "charge" for damage to curtains. There are no curtains in the apartment! My husband tried to speak to her about it, and the fact that she mailed us the wrong check, she called him a child and threatened him with the police because he had the check! That was her fault not ours! He called the management company and they told him to destroy it. Too bad, because before all that, it was the best place we had lived. Minus the uneaven floors (leaks in the kitchen destroyed the underflooring-was never fixed, and if we wanted it fixed we would have had to move out!).
