All of these bad reviews are O-L-D. TRUST ME, I have lived here since late 2005 and I can tell you this place has done a complete 180. When I first moved in it was mostly college kids-rowdy and loud with a few domestic disturbances a year. NEW MANAGEMENT HAS MADE ALL THE DIFFERENCE!!! For the past year and half it has been fewer kids and more families and mature tenants. I am a grad student at NMSU and this place has been great-if, like me, you are not the party type (if you are in this for a spring break atmosphere, check Casa Bendaras). The pool is not very big, the maintenance is slow, the wireless internet is sometimes not the quickest (but is getting better since they installed it last year) and the tenants don't always clean up after their dogs, BUT it is well priced, clean, quiet, safe and close to campus. This is a huge plus for me--I walk to school everyday and save loads on gas and parking! I have a second floor 1 bedroom and pay $515/mo and my rent has not gone up at all in 3 years (not sure if this is a special deal or what). They are building a gym which will be done mid-July. Overall, this place is not as big and glitsy as those across town but it is one of the nicest, cleanest, safest and well priced near campus. There is no laundry facility, but a laundromat directly across the street (next to the best coffee shop ever).
