Not that impressed - ANTS, ANTS, EVERYWHERE!

I've been living in the HIGH RANGE VILLAGE APARTMENTS for a little over a year and I'm not impressed! Upon reading the description of the apartments on apartments.com I couldn't help but write this. If you are looking for a place to stay please don't believe the HYPE written in the apartment guide. As per the apartment guide: "...Quarry tile fireplaces, bay windows and ceiling fans provide just the right touch of charm. Other amenities that reflect the quality living of High Range Village include microwave ovens, refrigerators with icemakers, washer/dryer connections, and a private patio or wood deck for entertainment or relaxation." Okay some of the apartments do have fireplaces and bay windows, but not all. In my apartment there is a ceiling fan in the living room; however, there are no light fixtures in the bedroom so I had to buy lamps. The refrigerators with the icemakers are so old they are possibly the first ones that were made. The lush landscape is a joke and the sparkling pool is too. Funny how they didn't mention the moss growing in the hot tub last winter when a part or something was broken in it.

My biggest problem right now are the ANTS that are all over the damn place they're outside, inside, in the kitchen, bathroom and one day I came home to find them coming out of the AC vent by the hurndreds! My house is ALWAYS CLEAN so there is no excuse other than this place is INFESTED with ants and I'm not really seeing a true effort to control the infestation. I'm in the process of looking for another apartment so I can say good-bye to luxury living at High Range Village Apartments. The apartments themselves are overpriced and you are simply paying for location if you are living here. I've seen low income apartments that are better kept than these!
