Management sucks From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 7/12/2005 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2005   If you are thinking of staying in these apts, I would advise you to think twice. I lived in those apts for 2 years with my girlfriend. The property manager was horrible in every sense. Her name is Cathy Cowell. She is extremely rude to the extent that she hangs up on you, impatient, spent most of her job time in walking her puppy, never cared for the apartment cleanliness. My apartment in las palmas is filled with fungus because of inefficient light, I lived in the second floor close to Cathys apt. She spends several hours in the day puppy walking or stalking people and enquiring about their personal life. Its an extremely noisy place because cathy loves students partying there(its a source of entertainment for her in a way because she is single and bored). According to cathy you can vacuum the apts anytime of the day 24/7. Safety is minimal. There used to be a security guard in the night coming to the apt. The security guard always knocked on the wrong doors to check for noise. Maybe he is heard of hearing or was doing it intentionally. Security guard is available only around midnight and that to for less than 45mins. Upkeep of the apts is very very poor. You want to see cockroaches, bugs or any other insects please visit these apartments. Its more a mini-zoo than an apartment. Cleanliness of the apartments is below zero level. Overall, the management sucks. They don't pay heed to the tenants. Cathy(apartment manager) acts like she is the president or the owner of those apts. She has no management skills, she is a ---- head. I don't recommend these apartments to anyone interested in staying in lascruces or elpaso.
