My husband and I live in the 500 building. He had to find a place as quick as possible and said yes without seeing the place first. The carpet was covered with so much dog hair; the cupboards were atrocious, old appliances, lots of cracked tiles in the bathroom, and lots of stains all over. I found out that the renters before us had two big dogs in this apartment. It was so obvious that the dogs made a mess of the place and the management did not clean. But that was the least of the problems. There were lots of critters like cenapeeds, roaches, and many more! Then there is the swamp cooler. Every time we turned it on it would make me violently ill. It smelled like a sewer and feathers would rain down on us. I got so sick! I know it was the cooler because I got worse when we used it and then got better when we permanently kept it off and I sealed all vents with plastic bags. We had to buy our own personal air cooler, air purifier, and lots of fans. We move out this weekend and I am so happy about that. But I am sad to think someone else is going to have to put up with this place. So please be warned.
