The Pavilions at University

DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PROPERTIES!!! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 4/2/2008 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008   This was the most horrific experience ever. My fiance and I and our small child asked for an apartment in August they ensured use that there were none available in August and that we had to move in in July instead. Suprise Suprise tenents were still movingg in well into august. On our move in day Meagan one of the property mgrs told use taht she would meet us at the property to give ise our keys and sign our paperwork. She did not meet us there! After our long drive to Las Cruces with a small child and moving van she made us drive to their other property The pavillions at south fork. The customer service throughout or lease was terrible. I felt that Veronica had no customer service skills at all and was aggitating when we would call in with a problem. Whe the time came to renew our lease and we told them that were we not renewing they called both my fiance and I constantly asking us to renew and glorifying themselves over all other options that we presented. Also we were told that in order to maintain the current price we were paying for our appartment we needed to renew immediatly. I called claiming to just be looking for price info, not exposing that I was a current resident and the price that I was quoted was actualy less then what I was currently paying. I was amazed that they were willing to take better care of future residents that the ones they alreay had. This just goes to show that they are really after the money and not good customer service. In addition the hot tub almost never worked and the pool while very pretty was never useable becasue it was very cold. I felt that we were paying for ammenities that we could not use.
