The pool and adjacent work out and community rooms at Avaria of Santa Fe are very impressive but don't judge this book by it's cover!
It is the end of July 09. Our pool has been closed for over a month now this time period included 4th of July weekend.
The knob in the sauna is broken.
The lights are burnt out.
The clock in the work out room has stopped running.
The water cooler no longer works.
And to add insult to injury the jacuzzi is empty again. It is constantly breaking down.
The community room with cable TV has been closed all summer as well.
The printer for the community computer has been out of order for the entire summer as well and the copy machine has not worked in over a year.

Although the office and maintenance staff are nice, ommunication with the tenants is lacking.
We should have been informed of all repairs, well in advance.
Don't move here it is not as good as it looks!

Although all of the above is true. I would not blame it on the current office staff which is new but on those higher up in Avaria's corporate offices who have the final say and obviously had very poor judgement in this matter. Perhaps they could make it up to us by compensating us monetarily, as we have all had to pay to use the city's public pools this summer instead of the facilities on the property.

Unfortunately we could not have forseen the problems that were to come with this project. We were told that the pool would only be closed down for 3 days, and 2 more to fill it up. We were equally disappointed with the time it took. Fortunately we won't need to re-surface the pool deck again for many years. We appreciate you patience.
