Where do I start' Appearance: The primary features of the landscaping are dog crap and broken beer bottles. The buildings look run-down and some of the balconies look like they're about to fall off. Office Staff: They must go through training to be so unhelpful. The property manager is a tyrant. If you argue with her, she'll accuse you of violating lease terms (including ones she makes up on the spot) & threaten to evict you. I was one phone call away from suing for tenants rights violations. Maintenance: Fortunately, I have not dealt much with them. They seem to hold the same attitude as the office staff, though. I overheard them after one maintenance call saying that they wouldn't go back to this tenant's apartment. They thought she should fix the problem herself! Safety: I've chased drug dealers out of the parking lot. My neighbor's truck was stolen. Several cars have been burglarized.

And just think, you get to pay Santa Fe housing prices to put up with all that.
