First of all, the renovation is nice. Unfortunately a coat of paint does not address the underlying problems with these apartments. They are of very poor construction. I lived on the ground floor. Last spring during some heavy rains, I actually had water seep in between the foundation and the wall! It did a lot of water damage to my furniture and some papers I had stored in the front closet. The walls are very thin, too, so you hear a lot of what your neighbors are doing. I can also vouch for drug dealers in the parking lot, although that has subsided lately. The only other item I'll comment on is parking. It was horrible when I first moved in. If you didn't have a spot by 6:00, you could pretty much forget about parking close to your apartment. Since they started the renovation and everyone moved out, though, parking is readily available.
