I lived at Los Pinones for 6 months and it was the WORST 6 months I have ever experienced as a renter! The management is far from top-notch as a a previous review would suggest. The couple of previous reviews on this site confuse me frankly. It would almost appear that the people of the complex are writing review for themselves. They constantly use double-talk to get out of things they have promised or said to a tenant. The maintenance department is terrible as well. I was without a working heater for nearly 5 consecutive weeks as the winter months were beginning. Yes, they may keep the grounds fairly clean and, yes, there is a nice mountain view if you're lucky enough to get a unit that faces it. But, the fact is, if you ever need anything from the management or maintenance, forget about any kind of amicable or quick service. Please heed these words of advice and never, ever, consider this place for your next residence unless you are such an "understanding" person that it is actually a fault. I only wish I could fully explain how horrible and frustrating it is to live at Los Pinones.

Los Pinones remains a highly reputable community despite reviews such as this. Current occupancy at Los Pinones consists of many satisfied long-term residents! What is not discussed here are the many times the staff at Los Pinones made reasonable attempts to accomodate this resident; providing heating units and then installing a brand new furnace. Maintenance staff need to work in a safe enviornment without the worry of being attacked by pets to complete a request made. The office and maintenance staff always strive to maintain as much open communication with each resident as possible. It is the choice of this resident to assume other than what was directly expressed and most definately does not reflect the opinons of all who reside here at Los Pinones.
