Parkway Apartments

While the website makes the apartments look quite appealing, it is very misleading. We have a bottom floor unit. The floors are very cold. The carpet has either been laid directly over the concrete slab or there is no insulation between the carpet and the foundation. The flooring in the bathroom and kitchen has not been well cared for, is cut in places and dirty even after a good mopping. Every window leaks, the cold air pours in, especially when the wind blows. The bedrooms are in the back of the unit and very cold. There is little or no weather stripping around the door, the outside lights can be seen through the cracks around the door frame. The outside of the windows (on the bottom floor units) are covered in some kind of mineral deposits from the sprinkler system. No effort is made to clean this grime off the windows. The tub and the fixtures in the bathroom and kitchen have not been well cared for and are covered in deposits which is not removed during a turn over cleaning. With winter here, very little effort is made to clear the parking lot or driveways through the complex of snow buildup. At the time of this review, there is a minimum of 6 inches of ice on nearly every surface of the parking lot and roadway. Cars are getting stuck in the frozen ruts and undercarrige damage is very possible should you cross the ruts. No effort will be made to clear to ice.
