I leased a loft apartment in Adiamo for 6 months in 2007. Before I moved in the office staff were wonderful and smiley and friendly. That all stopped after I signed the lease!

When I moved in the kitchen units were teaming with ants. I reported it to the office and the response was "Buy a can of insect spray from Albertsons". One of the vertical blinds had slats that were so off color they were almost yellow! Upon opening the fold back doors to use my washer and dryer and one of the doors fell off. I managed to wedge it open and just kept them folded back all the time. And that was how they stayed. In the 6 months I was there they constantly promised they would have the door fixed and they never did.

My bedroom backed onto the bedroom of the apartment next door. The wall was so cheaply built and so thin, when my neighbor had his TV on (normal volume) I could set my TV to the same channel and not bother to put the volume on. Thang God his sex life appeared to be non-existant! I can only begin to imagine what that would have been like!

In the one bedroom apartment below me, lived a single mother with three children! And an occasional "gentleman caller". I am not a big Rap fan, so this guys taste in music at 2am was not my choice - not by a long margin.

Worth $1300 a month' You've got to be kidding me! If they charge $600 a month for that place they're still stealing from you!
