I m not even sure where to start with this place so I ll begin with the apartments themselves. The appliances were as low end as you can possibly buy. The dishwasher seemed to do less washing and more moving dirt around. 80% of the time I had to handwash the dishes AFTER running them through the dishwasher. The washer and dryer were extremely noisy, and the air conditioner unit sounded like one of those cheap, jet engine sounding, units used in shady motels. The windows whistled when the wind blew and the door did not seal very well. I reported both to the property management team, only to have them ------- off by telling me that in their numerous years of experience this is the best property they ve ever worked on. I would have hated to have seen their other properties if this was the best! Regardless, I had an issue and it was not taking seriously. Great customer service!
Speaking of the management team, if you re looking for a place to live where the property management personnel have absolutely ZERO integrity, then you ve found your place. Both Sharon and Burton will promise you one thing to your face, then turn around and do the exact opposite. When you confront them about it, they deny their previous comments. If you do choose to live here, which I would not recommend to my worst enemy, then make sure you get everything in writing because they have no issue lying to your face.
The maintenance crew was always polite and courteous. The only issue I have with them is there was only three of them to maintain the grounds and over 200 units!!! So it took forever to get anything done around there because they were overworked and understaffed. This brings us full circle back to the management team not providing the residence the best possible service.
Do not be fooled by the gate around the property because it is not really a gated community. IF the front gates happen to be closed when you pull up, and I stress IF since they were open 90% of the time, even at 3 am, then there was usually someone who did not live on the property sitting by one of the gates waiting for someone to swipe their card and let them in. Both gates opened when you swiped your card, which made the property completely insecure. The smaller gates that allowed you to walk to the surrounding stores had broken locks! I saw many shady characters walking freely around the property because of the complete lack of security. If you choose to visit this place, ask them about the plasma screen TV stolen from the fitness area, one of the most secure areas on the property, by someone who they think did not live here!!!
Here s my favorite Adobe Ranch charges each and every person $10/month for their valet trash pickup . What this means is each Tue and Thur residence can put their trash out between 7 am and 9 am, and they will take it to the dumpster for you. Sounds nice right' Well it s just another way to milk you for money. There are several units that are in the area of the dumpster that don t even use this service . The question was asked why don t they expand their hours to accommodate people who work graveyard and 7-9 am is considered their night . The response we received from management was this is how it s done, deal with it. During my period of living there I may have used this mandatory service TWICE! So basically I paid $10 so I could walk my trash to the dumpster! Ripoff.
This is the first place I ve lived in where there is a pool curfew of 10 pm on weeknights and midnight on weekends, and doesn t open until the office opens the following morning. This is a town that lives 24 hours a day, and I don t understand why there is an issue with having a 24 hour pool as long as the residents using the pool are not being loud and unruly. So much for swimming some laps before I went to work, and enjoying the hot tub late at night.
So in summary the apartments are overpriced for the quality, the management team is the worst I ve seen in my many years of living in the Vegas/Henderson area, the maintenance team is understaffed, which causes delays in property upkeep, the mandatory trash valet service is a scam to get an extra $10/month from each and every unit, and the pool opens too late and closes to early.
I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are much better properties in the area, charging less for rent, and offering better service. Do not be fooled by their song and dance. Sharon and Burton are liars and cheats, and have no issue manipulating you to fill their units. I'm not sure who the reviewers are who are giving this place high ratings, but I can only assume it is either Sharon or Burton attempting to bolster their rating. Do not be fooled! This is a low-end complex, charging high-end prices!!!!
