The Allegro is one of the nicer apartment complexes in the Henderson area. It is a bit pricey and out of the way but very stylish and clean.

First the good:

Allegro apartments are stylish, clean, and well appointed. There are nice kitchens, balconies, and laundry rooms. The grounds are very well kept, there are two nice pool areas, and there is plenty of parking. It is quiet, there are nice views of the Las Vegas Valley and there are also some nice people who live there.

Now the bad:

The management staff is friendly, but not very knowledgeable. If you need anything done to the apartment the staff is pretty inept and directs you to the property manager, who is never around and did not return any of my calls. The police were at the complex several times while i lived there and my apartment was broken into. There was also a big gang fight in the parking lot. I had to call the police to break it up and this boy had his head smashed into a curb. There was blood everywhere and it was really disturbing. Most of my neighbors were good people but the guy upstairs was arrested by the police for the gang fight and was a drug dealer.

whoa!!!!!!!! that must have been so freaky!! I can't believe that happens in thse upper end apts.!!! naive in Oregon and afraid to move!

Okay dufuss, that was 2003-2004 do you realize it is 2008 now.... hello! Well I love it here and have never had a problem. Yes, it's pricey however you pay for what you get. I compared prices to Cielo, Adiamo and Timberlakes and HONESTLY this was a bit less. I have been here since. 2005 and love it.

I am the boy who had his head cracked open... By a skateboard. I had an accident, but my mom did get jumped by an el salvadorian in the pool area. Other than that it is a really nice place with nice people, except for the fat ----- Mary who doesn't answer any phone calls because she is too busy eating. BTW the walls are really thin. If your neighbor farts you will hear it. Otherwise a great place to live.
