I'm sure there are worse, but I lived in a Camden apartment for five years and never had so many problems as this place.

The apartments are much nicer from the outside than they are from the inside.

Maintenance is fairly quick to respond, but I think it's just because it's routine now. The amenities are the cheapest they can buy. The carpet is the most disgusting, cheap quality in existence. I had to place shelf liner in the cabinets because none of the interior pressed-board is finished - meaning the shelves are completely porous (how do you clean these')

1. A/C - compressor breaks after first couple months

2. Toilets - both chains for the handles break in the first couple months/my husband repairs. Did I mention how disgusting it was inside the toilet tanks' They didn't clean them before we moved in.

3. Washing machine - got stuck in filling mode and overflowed flooding the hallway and master bedroom closet. Not only do they have to repair the washing machine, but they pull up the carpet padding in the hallway and closet, have a company suck up as much of the excess water as possible from the carpet and place dryers in the apartment for a couple of days. They replace the padding once the carpet is dry.

4. Oven breaks - wth' Some part that apparently routinely breaks needs to be replaced. Wouldn't it just be cheaper to spend a few extra bucks instead of buying bargain basement everything'

5. Water heater - 3 minutes of hot water and then insta-cold shower...getting repaired today though...2 faulty heating elements and the guy apparently has to drain the thing...

6. Sinks and tub drains constantly clog

7. The caulking is horrible in the tubs and one of the handles is basically loose from the shower wall. The little pieces that change it from shower to tub flow are stuck in place.

8. The refrigerator leaks if you don't close the doors just right.

9. We received a warning for parking in a covered parking space without a parking tag. We had never been issued a tag and were told when we moved in that there was no assigned parking. We were living here several months before we received this parking warning. I guess somebody up top was visiting...

10. My husband went to the upstairs apartment to ask the kids up there to please keep it down (they were bouncing a ball inside amongst other things). He mentioned the stairs were very rickety.

Those are the major things. Did I mention these apartments are maybe 5-6 years old' I am never living in a Picerne apartment complex again if I can help it.
