Avalon has been a nightmare since we started renting. We moved to the Seven Hills area to be away from the smut of Las Vegas. We knew we would be paying a higher price to rent, but we wanted to so we could live in a nice area. However, they seem to be renting to everyone and anyone they can with no screening. There was an incident a few months ago where SWAT was called to do a drug bust. Not only was it shocking, but the maintenance manager was involved, as well as the office manager. There is dog poop everywhere, because people refuse to take care of it. Also, only dogs that are under 30 lbs are supposed to be allowed. However, I see all kinds of large breeds including pit bulls. There are no speed bumps, so pedistrans really have to be careful of everyone driving like it's a speedway. The office manager is constantly changing the rules, such as when rent is due, even though it is outlined in our lease agreement. And she's extremely RUDE! There have been numerous thefts at the leasing office. A few months ago someone stole rent checks and tried to cash them. Security is obsolete. Now tenants are not allowed to use the pool or gym, because they were closed due to heath reasons. Which is one of the reasons why we moved here in the first place. They have a new HOA, who are creating all these new rules that are not outlined in the lease agreement and expect tenants to just know about them. No information was ever sent. I could go on and on about why you should not rent here... I would highly recommend staying far away from Avalon!

If you really want to complain and escalate it above the leasing office, try sending an email to Donna Gill (Dgill@RiverstoneRes.com). She didn't do anything when I complained repeatedly about these things before they became public knowledge, but I'm sure if enough people complained she might be forced to get off her lazy arse and do something about the property her company is managing.

What 'explains alot' is the fact that the property manager is related to Donna at HOA so if you complain to that email address nothing happens. That was a former comment that has been deleted since but I thought it was pertinent info.
