Don't get lulled into a false belief that Avalon's a great place to live. The management and their staff have been writing reviews over the past week, saying how great the place is and how helpful the staff are.
It's a complete lie. The only benefit this place has, is that the maintenance has changed. This was after the former maintenance supervisor and the former manager's brother had the swat team show up for a drug bust.
The property is not properly taken care of, the management is not great, the staff are generally anything but helpful and it's a shame that they're so desperate that they have to write reviews from the same IP address, lying about how good their service is.
Pathetic.

Funny, I wrote a good review about this place and I'm not a staff member. I always review the places I live at. Some people do that, you know. There have been a lot of much-needed improvements lately. the maintenance is good, and the office staff is actually very nice and professional. The old management was NOT so great but they have been replaced and the people working there now are trying really hard to improve everything.

How can you tell if its from the same IP address? I heard they are offering renters a small discount off monthly rent if they post a good review! Truely pathetic. Its only going to hurt them in the long run because eventually they'll be paying out hundreds a month trying to keep a good reputation on this site. Their time and money would be better spent improving the property and getting actual real statisfied comments. Its probably coming from the same address because I assume they make you write the review from the office so they can lord over it and make sure its acceptable for the "incentive." I'm not sure how I feel about this; on one hand I want everyone who needs an - albeit small - a disount to go get it! On the other hand I don't want future renters to be misled. I'm sure they'll be getting to a point very soon when they stop paying for comments. But the staff will never stop writing false reviews; in a way its their job but you can spot the staff reivews a mile away! One stupid staffer even attached the official professional photos of Avalon! Laughable! That staffer calls herself DaisyDuke75 (5/3)! The false comments started on 4/29 its as plain as day to see. Renters be warned: insist on upgraded units and be prepared to pay more for them! EDITED NOTE: DaisyDuke75 has deleted the 5/3 post and reposted her review on 5/14 with the same pics. DUH!
