When I first visited these apt's I thought I was getting a great deal. It was quite, the staff SEEMED friendly, and the amenities appeared to be satisfactory.
However, after moving in, I found the 'true colors' of the staff shine more brightly than the tainted ones the demonstrate when they are eager to get that salary bonus for adding a new tenant.
Yes, true there are washer n dryers in every unit, however my dryer squeaks excessively and though numerous requests have been made to repair it, there has been no response from the staff or any efforts made towards acknowledgement of the situation.
The refrigerator has two broken bars on the door which fall out everytime I open the door (along with everything behind them), after several ignored requests to repair it, I gave up trying and simply don't utilize those slots anymore (hindrence, wouldn't you say).
Two of my neighbors have extrememly LOUD squeaking doors (main entrance doors) and everytime one of them comes home I can hear them. Yes even at 3:30 in the morning I find myself awaking to the rudeness of that noise.
Just recently I watched the maintenance here "toss" a water heater over a balcony onto the ground (from the second floor). Too lazy to take it down the stairs and handle the situation in a proper manner' Kinda sucks when you're the tenant directly under the apt they are throwing it from. These guys aren't small either, they very easily could have put it on a dolly and taken it down the stairs... After all they did put the new one on a dolly and brought it up the stairs. My guess is, it's harder to carry up, then it is to slide down.
When I go into the office to conduct any other business besides paying rent, I get the feeling that the staff would prefer that I hadn't walked in the door. However, if I'm there with a check in hand, it's smiles across the board on ALL faces.
They have this service that they provide that lets you use the internet in the office to conduct different types of business... However, when I went in to utilize this "service" the response I received from the staff was one of me "imposing" and I simply opted to leave the office and use a friends computer instead.
There's a whole lot more that I've discovered in the few short months that I've lived here, but I couldn't possibly list them all in this one little page. I have quite a few months left on my lease, and am truly regretting ever signing it, but I'll just continue to live here in disgust and patiently await the day that I can move out without breaking my lease. I have, since moving in PAID to repair the dryer and purchased the bars for the fridge directly from the manufacturer.
I STRONGLY SUGGEST TO EVERYONE CONSIDERING MOVING HERE, TO REQUEST TO VIEW THEIR TURN-OVER RATE HERE. THIS PLACE SUCKS AND EVERYONE I'VE TALKED TO ABOUT THESE APARTMENTS HAS NOTHING BUT NEGATIVE STATEMENTS TO SAY. DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO THE BOGUS STATEMENTS THAT ARE LEFT ON THIS SITE BY THE STAFF HERE. ANYONE THAT WOULD RATE THIS COMPLEX OR THE STAFF AS A "5" OBVIOUSLY IS THE STAFF THEMSELVES "OR" DIRECTLY RELATED TO THEM.
