I am amazed at the difference in moving here has made in the life of me and my family. We did not want to move to Las Vegas to begin with but the weather where we are from was too much for us. Reluctantly we moved into an apartment, big, but still cramped since we are used to our own home. My kids hated school, their grades dropped. We were all basically miserable.

I started noticing a difference in the apartment complex when some new people started working in the office. My kids started stopping in the office on their way home off the school bus. Seems they started having candy, cookies, etc. for people in the office. The kids took a special liking to Miss Christy in the office becuase she keeps their favorite candy on hand all the times. Unless the kids misbehave and then they have to wait a day or two before they can come back in. My kids came home one day with stickers from Miss Christy. They had shown her good grades they had gotten and she keeps stickers in the office to give the kids when they do something good or improve. Now my kids study and work hard because they want to show their grades to Miss Christy.

I like the apartment, but miss my house. But now it is a home and a place to live, not to stay until we can get a house.

The staff here not only takes care of the apartments, the grounds, and whatever other stuff they do...but they take care of the people. I have never known a place to have people working that have such great hearts. That goes for everyone that works there. Maintenance too. Everyone seems to be happy at work.

I had to write this because my kids are my world and they are happy and doing better in school...because of an apartment.
