My fiance and I have lived here three years and if I had to do it all over again I would have left a year ago.

In the past six months my car has been broken into three times and about 3 weeks ago my car stereo was stolen. Where was the supposed security' If my fiance is parked in our space I have to park extremely far away and vice versa.

In the "dining room" above the window there is some sort of small hole. Whenever it rains it's like a waterfall down the wall. There is now extensive water damage - the dry wall is bubbled up and peeling. We have been calling the office since 2004 to get this fixed. The air conditioner broke our first summer here and it took them days to fix it. No a/c in 100 degree heat' I don't think so. Our water heater exploded in the summer of 2005 at about 10 pm. My father is a plumber so I called him to find out how to turn off the water to the water heater. He old me and when the 24 hour maintenence man showed up he berated me saying, "you shouldn't have done that! These pipes are really old and it's hard to turn them back on." Is that my problem, was I supposed to continue letting my apartment get flooded' Our door is being held together by screws and you have to put all your weight into it to lock and unlock it. The fact is this place is old and needs repairs and some updating, but management is not willing to do that.

In the summer there are roaches galore! No matter what I have done on my end they are still in the apartment. Like a previous person stated management's attitude is "it's normal and there isn't really anything they can do about it." Disgusting!

Bottom line - management is polite, but not willing to do anything to fix the apartments and keep their tenants truly happy despite rent going up. In three years rent has gone from $550 - $730 for a one bedroom. No thanks, we're moving in July.
