I lived at Camden for a year with my girlfriend and my daughter. I feel that the rent is pretty high. $1250.00 for a three bedroom. As far as the apartments are concerned; I guess they are not bad considering they are almost twenty years old. I mean it is pretty standard for an apartment. Neutral colors on the floor and basic white semigloss paint on the walls. I also had zero cockroaches. The only thing was my girlfriends cat caught two baby lizards. That was pretty random.

My apartment was not clean when we moved in. I'll bet my girlfriend scrubbed the kitchen floor 20 times before it was finally clean. Also, the tubs in the three bedrooms are HUGE. Unfortunately the water heater can't even come close to filling them with hot water. Everyone seemed nice in the office although I stayed away from the office as much as possible. Avery is especially nice.

Now, as far as the maintenence is concerned. What a bunch of lazy pieces of S#*T. My water heater never really worked good so the day I moved in I turned it up all of the way. That didn't help so I turned it down and called maintenence to fix it. So what does maintenence do' He turns it all the way up. Whoa. What a brilliant idea brainiac. Another time, my a/c condenser had the fan go out. It would make an awful noise and was loud as hell. I called maintenence to come and fix it. I get home from work and I still heard the damn fan louder than ever. In my apartment was a little note from the maintenence guy that said that everything was fine. I was so pissed. I called the office and asked them if they heard the noise of the fan through the phone. Anyway the office and I got into it and I told the girl that her maintenence staff was lazy. Needless to say, the fan got fixed.

Another problem with Camden is the people who live there. I have never seen such trashy people in my life. There is always some domestic violence, or some kids getting beat up or something. One time my girlfriend and I came home from vacation to find the bathroom floor soaked. I called the office and they said they would have someone look at it. Well it turns out that the people in the apartment next door had completly broken thier toilet. And I don't mean just like flooded it or something. I am talking like completly breaking it in half. All of the water was from thier broken tiolet. All the neighbor did after the toilet broke was shut off the water. They didn't call maintenence or anything. There was also a time when a naked guy tried to break into the apartment. That was kind of scary. I lived on the bottom floor so I always heard the a*#hole college kids above me stomping around but I guess that is what you get for living in an apartment. I also heard people having sex all of the time but again, thats what you get for living in an apartment. People probably heard me and my girlfriend having sex all of the time. The people having sex was funny to hear anyway. So I guess I would say if you can put up with ghetto ass people all day and night, this place is for you.
