I have been unhappy since DAY ONE! We moved, 1, becuase our old apartment has too many damn bigs ( I am hella scared of bugs/spiders) and 2, becuase we are expecting and we needed more space. Our lease was up and we moved in May 1st of 2007. The evening of moving day after everything was said and done. the assistant manager comes waltz down from the apartment above ours. "surpirse" she says. Well great! Who wants to live under the manager!
Everytime I have asked for the handy man to come fix something he never ends up showing. After much frustration, and fixing things ourselves, I went to the office and ask why this is, if he is knocking and were not home, shouldnt he be coming back at another time'' Everytime before this question to an office employee my upstairs neighbor, would write this in a sticky note. So who knows if he was ever coming to me dorr when I wasnt home' The employee in the office this particular time entered paperwork into his nifty computer. Wondered what they were used for. Then NEXT day the handy man fixed everything I needed at the time.
Ahhh and the bugs! They were dead and all around the walls when we moved in. I figured they were from spraying before we moved and I mentioned it to the office. They are everywhere! Crickets and roaches. Thats what got me at the computer tonight and found this site. A roach crawled on my neck while i was sitting on my couch!!! Being 8 months pregnant I about had a heartattack. You cant just go jumping around being that far along! They come and spray every monday that I sign up for I have told them our little orkin man SUCKS they keep coming back. Ive threatened to break the lease and move on there dime and they just offer to spray. Ive told them the obvious that IM BEING A BABY HOME TO THIS APARTMENT, BUGS DONT PAY RENT AND ARE NOT WELCOME!!! They really dont care at all. They look at me like being scared of bugs is just absurd! Ive looked for phone numbers to contact the right person to get action I REALLY REALLY dont want to move at 8 months preggo. But after stumbling across this site tonight I think I have no choice. I was beinging to think I was being unreasonable.
Not to mention the bird poop pile INFRONT OF MY DOOR. What the hell do I pay for'!
