My Husband and I moved into HRV in Feb 06, only 2 months after being here we started to see that everything that we were told was just not true. Mgmt does not respond to your issues. We have the loudest neighbor living upstairs, did I mention that there is not insullation in these apts. You can hear conversations through the wall. Well we had several items that we needed fixed and we requested that they be completed on the weekends as my husband sleeps during the day. Still have not heard a thing. The alarm system does not work. There are Bugs and Thugs living here! I can't believe some of the trash that occupies these apts. It seems that they will rent to anyone straight out the of the trash bin! Security sucks! There is a gaurd shack, however they just wave at anyone that comes through here. No drives the speed limit and is constantly going in and out of the complex the wrong way. I was almost been hit 3 times within a week for these 2 reasons. We thought that we would spend the extra money to move somewhere nice in order to get away to the noise and trash, but it seems that we just traded our price of rent for the previous getto we were trying to get out of. Save a buck or two and move somewhere else. Also, I need to mention all the cigeratte butts and spit stains I have outside my front door from my wonderful neighbors upstairs, and yes we have tried to talk to them directly.
