We moved in and the first problem that we encountered was no hot water in the sink. I didn't even try to take a shower the next day because I didn't want to take a cold shower. Once the hot water was fixed and I attempted to shower in my apartment, I realized that my unit was built with out pipes in the bathroom. I had to call into work so that I could have people in my apartment all day knocking down walls in my bathroom and my closet.
After this, I still didn't get any hot water for about a week. I was told that this was because I couldn't use the heat ant the hot water at the same time. ( By the way, this happened in the middle of winter!)
I tried to call the office and complain and they told me that there was a shower at the Gym that I could have used! I guess when you are paying $1045 for a 1 bedroom apartment not having a shower is common!! No one even cared!
I tried calling the corporate offices and still didn't receive a response. I would call twice a week and no one would call back.
Those were just the beginning. I can hear everything that goes on next door and I don't blame my neighbors, because I am sure they can hear everything going on in my aprtment. These walls are too thin.
We were told that we were living in a gated community. I don't think that I have ever been questioned trying to enter the apartments. And what happened to that park that was supposed to be there' It still looks like a pile of dirt to me!
The granite counter tops were never sealed in my apartment, so everytime they get wet there is a stain there. Also they were never finished underneath so they look like crap!
I would not recommend these apartments to anyone.
