The building is owned by a California Corp. that is really abusing the laws in Nevada favorable to lessors. Before you move-in, you must turn on YOUR utilities so they can clean your apartment and shampoo your carpets! This is a FIRST!
Watch out if you lease here. You will pay for the water & trash! Yep, only apartment in NV that requires its tenants to pay for trach and water.
But, as soon as your lease expires, YOUR RENT could be RAISED by as much as $175 per month! Mine was and I am moving!
The walls are as thin as they can be by law in Nevada - you can hear your neighbors conversations in their bathrooms. And, the doors and windows are not hung well, so your apartment is not insulated against the heat, the cold, the voices of passersby and the millions of roaches that run ramped in roach season.
There is also a serious BLACK WIDOW problem and they won't spray for them. THey only spray for roaches if you complain more than once.
The grounds are not maintained regularly. There are 1000's of cigarette butts all over the property, and flyers, paper, cans, etc. from the winds.
If you don't pick-it up - it won't get picked up!
There is NO LIGHTING in the expansive parking area, and it is very dangerous pulling in and out of the parking spaces, not to mention walking in at night or leaving early in the morning.
The Pool is not maintained well - water is often green and cloudy - and they won't turn the heater on until June! When a few residents complained about the pool not be heated, they were told by management that if they wanted to pay the electric and gas bill for the complex they would be more than happy to heat the pool.
My guess is that they will start doing this very soon!
This is a really bad place to live. The owners are especially neglectful as is management. This is just another California Robber Barren taking advantage of Nevadas favorable laws. Stay away from this place.
