My lease will be up at the end of January 2009 and they are raising my rent tremendously! First off, I don't understand why in the midst of this horrible economy how they can raise my rent to $125 more a month. My apt. is not even 1,000 square feet and I have asked around and the other apartment complexes in this area do not seem to be raising their rent for current tenants. What a rip off! The only good thing about this apartment is that they have attached garages and a nice pool during summer time (that is, when they feel like cleaning it). I am now looking for a house to rent and have many options since I am finding quite a few for less than what I am paying for rent now. Since I've lived here, I've seen the office staff change every few months. Now it is Ines Cabrera and some doofus at the front desk/reception/leasing that doesn't know crap and can't answer questions you have when you call. I think they should invest in good, genuine and knowledgeable office staff...not to mention POLITE and RESPECTFUL, then maybe the tenants will start staying even if they raise the rent!!!

I also did live here for over 2 years, I was told that a front gate would be put in. But never has been. After a number of odd people kept showing up at my door asking for a donation I felt the place was not safe, and the alarms never worked. Check around I moved down the street, my rent droped over 200$ and I got a free garage, oh and 1 month free rent! There are plenty of other places in the area. I would not recomend this place for the price, its NOT worth it.

Take photos of the entire interior of your apartment before you move out and make the leasing agent document, in writing, any "problems" noted during your walk through. Guaranteed, you can do what I did - spend $130 for carpet cleaning before moving - clean from floor to ceiling literally leaving your apartment in move-in condition and you WILL get a letter from corporate within 30-45 days after you move out advising you that you owe them money for some trumped up charges. This is a common practice at this building. They are unprofessional, dishonest, and I have not known one person who ever received any part of their deposit! In fact, everyone I know who moved out recieved a bill as did I. Document - Document - Document - and beat these robber barons!
