Think twice before moving here....

We have lived here for the better part of six months and cannot wait to move out. I?ve read the other reviews of this community and the negative ones are fairly accurate about life in this place. The management is rude and treats you like a second-class citizen unless of course you?re bringing your rent check in.
While we were taking our initial tour of the complex the gentleman showing the model explained that they have security at night and its all ex-cops or military. We were told they are on duty every night and stay till dawn. I swear in the six months we have lived here I have seen somebody patrolling on only three separate occasions. I asked the guy why that was and was told they USED to work daily shifts but have cut down the hours and days they patrol the area. The guard also told me most were entry-level positions and laughed when I told him about how the gentleman showing the place described the experience of the security staff.
They have had several car break-ins? lately as well as vehicle vandalism around the complex but still the management will do nothing about the problem.
We were also told that the pool is heated year round for the comfort of the tenants. Well since the new management took over that policy has apparently changed now that the pool is uncomfortably cold. Management claims that were never their policy and they only heat the pool during winter months. Several of my neighbors also recall the same promise while showing the units but the management will do nothing about it.
They also have a problem with tenants who act like frustrated race car drivers in this complex. On a daily basis im almost hit coming home from work because people want to take the corners as fast as possible with no regard for the damage they could cause. If that doesn?t bother you then Siena Villa is obviously your kind of place to live. Management has acknowledges the problem and promised to do something about it. Unfortunately that was two months ago and still nothing has been done about it such as putting in speed bumps in close vicinity to the corners to keep people from speeding around them. I called the office to complain and ask when the manager planned on doing something about it. I was told they have no plans at this time to do ANYTHING at all about this problem despite what I was told.
There have been several other smaller issues that are worth mentioning such as leaving notices on your door for a 24-hour inspection and never showing up. When I called the management office to ask why that is the only response is they simply got too busy and will get around to it when they can. I?m not sure about you dear reader but I don?t want some stranger roaming around my home doing who know what. So each time ive taken time off work to make sure im here for it. Time and time again they show a complete lack of respect for the people that live in this complex.
In closing I really want people to think twice before moving into Siena Villa Apartments. It?s really not worth the price they want for rent and the management needs to remember they are employed to assist and manage the complex properly. Not treat its tenants with disrespect and show no regard for the welfare of the people living here. I know for a fact they are trying to convert this complex into condo?s to sell and truly believe this management was put in to make people want to leave. Congratulation Siena Villa management; you have done your job well in that regard.
In other words, look somewhere else?.
