When my daughter and I first moved into this community, we loved it. It was close to her school, shopping, etc. The property was lovely (except for the color scheme) and we liked the size of our 2BR unit. We've been here for 2 1/2 years and something has changed.
We found out this weekend that they don't clean the pools everyday. Yesterday and Sunday there were so many dead bugs and trash floating that we couldn't even swim. When I asked the office, they said we don t clean the pools on the weekend. Really' Isn t that when they are used the most' They boast having 2 pools. However, the landscaping around the second pool makes it almost impossible to get through. Furthermore, the light on the second pool is literally out of the pool with a cord running down into the water.
The equipment in the gym is regularly broken. Another resident told me that you have to unplug the treadmills and plug them back in before you can use them. That doesn't seem safe or right.
My neighbor has a very large dog (much larger than the 20 lbs. they allow), he is never leashed and they never pick up after him. Walking through the grass near building 21 is like tiptoeing through land mines. When I told the office, they didn't care.
The landscaping is mature and would be beautiful, if they would keep it up. I am only 5' tall and I regularly have to duck under tree branches when just walking on the sidewalk.
The front gate is always broken. Either one side opens and the other doesn't, it's very loud, sometimes me gate remote doesn't work, etc.
I understand that it can be difficult to run a property. However, I'm paying more than $1000 each month and the "luxury" is quickly becoming the ghetto. Talking to the office is pointless. I would recommend moving to Positano, Equestrian or Summit; much better management companies. I just wish they were zoned for Glen Taylor Elementary, I would move in a heart beat.

This is a roach, ant and cricket infested neighborhood. The walls?-forget about insulation!-You hear your neighbors sneeze and much more...late at nite. The office likes to pretend they don't allow large dogs on property and yet you will see weinmaureners, labs and bulldogs..WTF? They like to selectively harass some neighbors while others go about being "ignored". Why do you think they are running so many specials on craigslist? I read 4 posting in one day? Are they that desperate to rent? I'm soooo glad I got out of there..just like the previous tenant said..you've been warned..Oh, and if you have kids in jr high..they no longer qualify to get bussed to Miller Miller school so good luck for the 09-10 school year. This place stinks and the gate does brake all the time. One will open farther than the other one, so you will scrath your front bumper of your car. Every 6 weeks something new would break or fall off in my apartment. There is continous mold and they do not change the AC filters. The doors inside the apartments are flimsy. They will charge you for anything so you can pay for their "upgrades" after you leave. I hope a lot of people read this and move somewhere else! This place is not worth your hard earned money....Stay Away!
