Is it too much to ask'

The manager does anything he can to avoid helping people with their concerns and complaints. Maintence has to be called 3 or 4 times to fix things, a.c., locks on doors, locks on mailboxes....in order to get it fixed right. Then, if it is still not fixed and you go to the manager, he walks away, or schools you or wants proof that something is wrong, questions what you have done prior to the frustration level. There is some woma in there who won't allow calls to go to the manager, won't give him messages, tells you he can not be contacted, etc. She also wants some kind of proof about your complaint. For instance, my mailbox would not unlock. I told Mesa Club, they put on a new lock. I went to them again and said the lock had not been tightened and was loose; my door was open enough so all someone had to do was pry it with their fingers. This woman argued with me about it, wanted to know EXACTLY what the problem was, kept after me like a terrier. Hey, it's broken. Fix it. Then my mailbox lock fell off onto the ground when I opened my mailbox. I gathered the pieces, tossed them on the managers desk and said, Do you see a problem here after trying to get this fixed over and over'" I asked for a copy of my lease, months later, don't have it. Asked for my upper story windows to be washed. Promsed in April. This is January. Still waiting. First day I lived here, couldn't lock the front door. Air conditioner wouldn't work. Had to call for repair four times because whatever they did didn't work. Told them my front door didn't fit right and I was getting cold air and dirt in my apartment. They came. Then I couldn't lock my door because it was too tight. Don't they check their work' Obviously not. So I had to go to work with an open apartment, called and told them the situation. They came to fix that...fine. Then the doorhandle was so loose it rattled in my hand. How about doing it once correctly' i don't have time for all these calls.I pay good money and really don't apreciate the level of maintence and certainly not the management who should be people people and know how to talk with residents who have put up with a bunch of hooey. This isn't everything by any stretch of the imagination. But take heed, it is not worth it. The parking is pretty good.
