Truthfully, I have a slightly higher opinion than most of the reviewers here. I am going on my second year here, was planning to transfer but that was a disaster. I love my current apartment and was going to move into one of the "remodeled" units... watch out. The new cabinets were hung noticeably crookedly and there was paint on the cabinetry. The bathtub had rust stains and the toilet had a distasteful gash at the bottom of the bowl. The patio had huge stains on both the wall and the floor. Several screens were badly torn. Luckily, Michelle, a leasing agent there, was incredibly helpful and I was able to break the new lease and renew my old. Otherwise I would be writing a much more negative review. She told me that although renters are not told this, we have a three-day period if dissatisfied with an apartment to break the lease. Thank god for Michelle. I am happily back in my old apartment. There is a security guard on after dark and I see him every night when I come home. Parking is not the best, but I can usually find a spot. One bad thing is the pool is constantly being shut down by SNHD. I have written letters and have yet to hear a response.

How come you rated this place a 4.0, but then said you don't recommend this place?
